Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist to oversee and execute our email marketing initiatives. This role will build email marketing campaigns in email marketing systems, mainly Salesforce Marketing Cloud, while leveraging a content system, segmentation, automation, tracking, and analytics to make data-driven decisions to optimize email campaigns. Working closely with content creators, developers, and project managers, the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist will implement all programmatic and operational initiatives through the marketing automation platform. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of email marketing experience, relevant Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification(s), and can contribute immediately. This role is located in Milwaukee Wisconsin, and we are open to this position being either a full-time or a part-time position.


  • Proactively research and recommend the latest best practices, strategies, and industry standards for email marketing.
  • Recommend appropriate market automation solutions and build the appropriate Automation Studio and Journey Builder solutions.
  • Demonstrate appropriate and effective subscriber acquisition and retention methodologies.
  • Configure segmentation tools to model subscribers and data, import and integrate with CRM, and build additional data extensions and integrations into the email marketing system.
  • Support essential marketing operations initiatives in CRM or marketing automation platforms, such as managing the lead lifecycle, lead scoring, lead nurturing, segmentation, and data cleansing.
  • Configure, run, understand, and evaluate both Marketing Cloud and Google Analytics (GA4) ad hoc and automated reports while continually evaluating for improvements.
  • Prepare data visualizations and performance reports internally and externally to marketing teams.
  • Work with management to define KPIs, create reporting, analyze campaign performance, and develop recommendations to improve campaigns continuously.
  • Plan and perform segmentation and content A/B testing to define and execute enhancements to productivity, conversion rates, programs/campaign ROI, and sales growth.
  • A Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certification is preferred.
  • 3-5 years proven experience in building, managing and analyzing email marketing solutions.
  • Must be proficient in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in other email marketing systems is a plus.
  • Experience with Google Analytics (GA4) is a plus.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as good project management skills.
  • The ideal candidate should enjoy working with cross-functional teams, including the digital, client service and media departments.

Under our Hybrid Remote Work Policy, qualifying employees will have the ability to work remotely up to 3 days each week (Monday-Friday) with the remaining days being worked in HY's Milwaukee office. Employees will have the ability to choose which, if any, days they would like to work remote.
